bootable cd to re-image a system not finding adapter

I have created on ghost 11.0, an iso which I burned to a cd. it will boot but it says it cannot find the adapater. The adapter driver I  used in the creation of the iso is the same one I used when I created bootable diskettes which worked and allowed me to image the system. Can someone give me a hint as to what may be happening?  Broadcom Gigibit netxtreme is the dos driver is used fro a dell t5400 precision.. (Note: For various reasons  We are switching to CDs because they seem to be more reliable).ANy help would be appreciated.
