I need a solution
Will GhostCast Server w/ PXE works faster on an SSD? My current server has 1tb HDD = two 500gb on RAID and I was just wondering if it will be faster to burn laptops if I upgraded my server to an SSD. I usually burn about 30 to 50 laptops at a time. The more sessions I make the slower it is. I am using a gigabit router and anything after 20 laptops I can see that the sessions starts to slow down.
Note that I am planning to upgrade the server to pure SSD and all the images will be on the SSD and not HDD.
I will be burning mostly on several laptops on a normal HDD but a lot of them about 30 to 50 sometimes even more.
I would like an advice if making my server run on SSD helps on the performance on the deployment of my images.
